Anisona Cafe

Hi hi sisters ... hope you have an enjoyable weekend. Last week, moichan invited cloudnine and I to join her for lunch with a visiting sister 'Baeby'. Hehe where else? Appropriately Gosireh! Since we are all familiar with Yong Joon's favourite place in Tokyo already, so I won't elaborate anymore. Gosireh still looks as beautiful and elegant as ever, except it's not as bustling when Yonsama isn't in town :)

Wonder if this is what the Korea First lady mentioned - Tanpyeonchae? The bean jello mixed with vegetables rice bowl, the waitress said it's very healthy and has detoxification value. Well, so far I had this lunch set 3 times already, how come I don't feel my BYJ virus is getting any weaker?

The pretty umiji cha :)

I didn't know Baeby before as she is more active in KOB. She lives in Hong Kong, but she had studied and lived in Canada for many years. Well to me, she is a fellow Canadian alright! She is very easy to converse with and her mannerism projects intelligence and grace. When moichan suggested that we moved to Anisona Cafe for coffee, how could I refuse?

WLS Anime Cafe (Anisona Cafe) is located on the rooftop of Matsuzakaya Department Store in Ginza. It is a temporary set up during the run of Winter Sonata Anime on DATV. Hehe, you notice the thick blanket on the back of the chair? Japanese restaurants usually have these blankets and giant heaters to warm up their outdoor customers during winter.

Looks familiar? Hehe, now you know why I post the first Gosireh picture, huh? The cafe just recreated this at the entrance. Not sure how real it is, should have walked up and examined it @@
But no time la, look who's sitting there starring at us?! Of course, we all ran over and stuck our heads around MinHyung. Hehe, I think certain features in this figure quite resemble our prince, even has pretty long eyelashes like him @@ To confess, I actually felt very conscious and even shy standing close to him, a plaster figure! How silly of me :)

There are displays of the Animated paintings all around the cafe. A quiet corner displaying some of the original concept paintings of the Anime
Hehe, no introduction necessary, right? Baeby and I were admiring how tall and broad Yong Joon must be! Oh oh, we even found 1 long and 1 short golden brown hair on JunSang's stripes scarf! For a few seconds, we were so excited thinking it was Yong Joon's hair! But sigh, JunSang's hair was black, and besides, after so many exhibitions and transports, how could Yong Joon's hair still stick on the knitted scarf? So disappointed!

Recognize these ones? Yes, from Sukapa TV commercials. Btw, for sisters who came for the Tokyo Dome events, you must have seen these in the WLS Anime Exhibition in Ikebukuro Sunshine City, eh?

The staffs were very understanding and had been patiently waiting for us to sit down at a table. By now, they must be accustomed to seeing these 'devoted' ajummas drooling over someone's figure, animated portraits, even clothes! Haha, only for Yonsama! Baeby ordered a 'honey and date' tea (came with a BYJ chocolate, see it?) and a sweet potato dessert, looked so good!

There are some Anime merchandise for sale, interesting bookmarks and notepads.
Yes, those yummy chocolates too! But who wants to eat with Yong Joon's face on it? Sweet love Vs sweet tooth, tough decision!
The box itself is a keeper! As you can see, we stayed until quite dark but we have our 'motherly and housewifey' responsibilities to return to, so we had to say goodbye to each other.

This is the beauty of Bae friendship : we all have our routine lives and challenges, BUT for one particular afternoon, we transform ourselves into young princesses getting together to share our crush for the same handsome prince boy whom we all secretly admire. Then when the clock strikes, we shed our beautiful ballgowns and gratifyingly return to reality. No complain, having the luxury to fantasize is already a blessing!

It was truly an enjoyable afternoon. Thank you for reading, my dear Bae sisters :)

Visit Korea 2010-2012

Hi Hi sisters ..... have you seen this poster before? This is the official poster for 'Visit Korea 2010-2012', hehe, they are still showing Yong Joon with long hair. Since this poster is printed in Korean, maybe they will have the English version with his new image soon?

The visitkoreayear.com website is also open, but I can't find any English page to go. So maybe we'll just wait a little to see what festivities Korea has planned to welcome foreign visitors. Is Korea in your travel plan in the next 3 years?

House hunting

Hi Hi sisters ...... hope everything is fine with you. Bae world has been so quiet, maybe it's time for some self-entertainment? Just happen to see some new pictures of our handsome prince visiting Cheong Wa Dae yesterday. No offense to any party, hope you enjoy :)

Wow, Madam First Lady, quite an impressive house you have here @@

You have very good taste, Bae Yong Joon ssi. This is the most prestigeous and secured address in Seoul.
The only catch is you have to be the President of Korea to live here :)

Hmmmm maybe not, I think I prefer a more care free lifestyle and hide somewhere far to be a farmer ......

Aye, this place is not bad! I can plant some cabbage in this patch here, a bit of hot pepper in that patch overthere, then I can make some kimchi, yum yum :)

Errr miahnaeyo, Yong Joon ssi. You happen to be standing on a piece of important cultural heritage site, any kimchi you make out of here will be classified as 'national treasure'!

Okie Dokie, I'll keep looking .....

Wow, I feel like I've been here in my last life :) Perhaps as a corporate hunter?

Look at that unbeatable view, I wish the hotel assistant manager were standing next to me instead! Haha, I think I've found my dream home :)

Really?! Are you sure you have the correct number of Os in the price??

Back to work ........ So MinHyung ssi, how did your house hunting go last week?

Yujin ssi, I think I finally understand what you've been saying all along- the best place for a home is in each other's heart :)
The End :)

A small surprise

Hi Hi sisters ...... it's a beautiful sunny day in Tokyo today, putting people in the perfect mood to go out. I spent a leisurely afternoon shopping, hehe a very fruitful one too :)

Then hubby came home with a little surprise for me. He passed by a bookstore and bought this pretty kimono magazine to encourage me, hehe knowing I will be learning kitsuke (kimono dressing) next week.

But that's not the reason I write this post, look at what else he brought home - the 'BYJ Japan visit official book'! Now, my hubby doesn't bring home a gift everyday, so I am amazed at how he even found this since he knows almost zilch about our prince. I am very touched that he is so supportive during the week of the events.

Hehe, I'll share a few droolingly-handsome close up inside the magazine with you, ok? Please enjoy and have a nice weekend :)

Getting better!

Hi hi dear sisters ..... you read about our prince is recovering from sepsis and resuming his normal activities slowly, eh? Looks like he has no major work plan for the rest of the year. Hope he can rest well :)

There were some new pictures of him published in Nikkan Sports newspaper today. The interview was conducted in Seoul last month after he returned from Japan. The location is at Sheraton Walker Hill - Aston House villa 2nd floor. They mentioned the first floor was where the 'Hotelier' DVD pictures were taken. He looked tired and the face was still a bit swollen but he looked absolutely gorgeous in dark pinstripes @@

He was still busy giving interviews even when he was sick, sob sob! There was another interview by the 'Beauty of Korea' Event MC Miyamoto san, which will be aired on SkyperfecTV this Saturday.

My Korean teacher

Hi Hi sisters ...... Thank you for taking the time to read about the Tokyo Dome Events and wrote me your thoughts. Hehe, I meant to post these pictures for a long time. There are many reasons why people learn a new language. The most common one is to gain another marketable skill for work, interests like travelling, or in my case, for survival :) Imagine I'd be like 'skin and bone' instead of wearing these 'Michelin tires' now if I can't order any food in the restaurant. Sob sob, come to think of it, maybe I shouldn't have learned any Japanese at all! But my mind is reversed 180 degrees when this Nintendo DS software came out. Some say "there is no bad student, only bad teacher." Hehe, I can't agree with it more, especially in this case.

Where can you find a finer (and sexier) Korean teacher than this?
For sure, I won't be dozing off like what I am doing now in my Japanese class :(
I will be staring straight at this handsome teacher without even moving my eyeballs @@
Hehe, maybe even drooling a little bit, but I promise I will cover my mouth (blush blush :) Please don't wake me up if I close my eyes and daydream about us taking a school trip - like to Paris :)
Haha, if I were at the top of the class, maybe we could even take a graduation picture like this :) Gambatte!
