Bamboo & Roses

Hi dear sisters ..... Thank you for your kind concerns for my sleepless nights. I think as long as Yong Joon is within a 500 miles radius from Tokyo, no kazoku (and the Japanese police!) can have a good night sleep this week :) So, you saw his pictures in Nikkan Sports and TV riding the Shinkansen from Sendai to Tokyo? He was indeed very adventurous and secretive, eh? After so many quiet days, we are blessed with some 'very pretty' pictures of him surrounded by bamboo and French roses (hehe, quoted by himself :)

He looks so delicate here, just like the roses :)

the colors of these roses are just stunning! As for the man in here, well, need I say more?

Just like to share this wonderful calendar poster given to me by a very kind sister today. This poster is designed by Hiyonn (I lost count how many) of HRH's images on it! Thank you so much. I have also received my (very late order of) 2009 BYJ diary and TWSSG Event DVD set. Yes, the size is small enough to carry in your bag :)

Dear Jaime and Bae sisters:
Why do you think Bae Yong Joon does not wear his signature pinky ring anymore? It is said that if the pinky ring of a man fits the marriage finger of a woman, they are each other's destiny!
When a man or woman is in love, she blossoms like a flower and he stands strong and pliant like a bamboo tree.
Are all these metaphors suggesting anything?

Hi Lady Jaime,

Sorry to have been quiet recently. I visited here daily and read your posts plus everyone's comments. Hope your sleeping is back to normal!

Over here, it's the weekend when we lose one hour (change to daylight saving time). The news tell us to be more careful come Monday because there is a historic rise in accidents and heart attacks following that loss of an hour of sleep for most people. Apparently, women suffer more than men from sleeplessness. The 'experts' invoke all kinds of reasons, including light sleeping when we become mothers, but they seem to have no clue whatsoever about the effect of a certain Korean man on our active imaginations as we lie awake in bed... Ahhhh...

Just wanted to say I love to hear our Joonie say "French rose", the way he rolls his Rs and the sweetness of the final Z sound, mmmmm! It's a lot closer to the French way of saying "rose" than most English speakers would manage.

Dear Josephine,

Sorry for the late reply. Really, a man's pinky ring is supposed to fit to his woman's marriage finger? How beautiful, I hope he can find his soon :)

Hi Hyds,

Thank you for writing to me. Like most of the official products, the DVDs only has Japanese subtitles (not even Korean) and it's on the part when Korean is spoken. So the target is purely Japanese market. Hehe but then , this event is held in Osaka :) I am looking forward to the Beauty of Korea book though, since it will be in English too!

Sorry, you mentioned about the bamboo poster in Hong Kong. Are you going there soon?

love .. jaime

Dear gosijo,

it's so good to hear from you. I was wondering if you are ok. hehe, hope you had a smooth 'spring back' transition today :)

Our man is communicating more in our language with us in the last little while, huh? Let's see : 'natural story, the Face Shop!' and now 'French Rose', Chuao :)

Please take care!

Yes, looking forward to get hold of the DVD of the photobook also since they are doing in in English this time.. I'm really glad.
I'm hoping to find any posters or any thing about BYJ in Hongkong. We intend to fly there this year instead of Singapore. I'm soooo looking forward to that trip. ;-)
Take care.
Love, hyds

I was directed here by this post

http://igot2shoes.blogspot.com/2009/03/metrosexual-flower-man.html

because I just absolutely did not believe that these photos were of a man.

I lived in Seoul for 3 years so was well aware of what Bae Yong-Joon looks like, but I still didn't believe this was him.

He looks so feminine now that it's just unbelievable. I know of kittens that look butcher than BYJ in these photos! Kittens with bows on their heads.
