In case you wonder ...

Hi dear sisters ..... how's your new year so far? You must find it pretty bored in the Bae world, eh? So how exactly is our prince spending his days away from us??

Annaehaseyo, Bae Yong Joon hamida. Yorubun, just in case you wonder why I’ve been so quiet

Rest assured I haven't exactly been twiddling my thumbs every day. (physically I just can't, see my fingers are all stiffed up from the clay!)
I get up at the crack of dawn every morning to practise how to farm. Okkkk, I haven't grown anything yet, but I have to get in shape to grow those lettuces and tomatos.
Then I'll bike in style to the market to do some grocery shopping. Of course, any cool dudes won't be caught dead dragging those ajumma shopping buggies on the street (like moi :)

Then I'll go home and cook. Yes, did I tell you that I do like my pizza sizzling-hot right out from my very own wood-burning oven?
Wow, see how fresh my salad is, it's alive and moving! Oops, that's the worm, yikes!

Laundry time! Nope, no machine. Remember saving the environment? Conserve water and energy! I am the voice of 'Seal the Deal', so I AM the washer ..... and the dryer too!
If I still have some spare time, I like to take out all my bowls and dishes .....

and give them a good rub
I have to examine them one by one to make sure they are in perfect A-1 condition. Remember, I am a perfectionist?
What a wonderful feeling to have everything polished and sparkling! (jaime thinks : um hmmm ..... our prince charming has been taking too many 'Domestic Science' classes from Lee Hyo Jae ssi :)

My moment of 'truth' - these guys do not know I am Yonsama, the superstar. I don't have to look perfect, act perfect or talk perfect - just being a friend, a human being. Love doesn't get any simplier than this, now that's no fame or fortune can buy :)
So you see, with an exciting and full life like that, what incentive do I have to act again? Just for fun, hope you enjoy :)

Thanks for the entertainment, Jaime! I'm sure he's super busy in his own way, with things we don't need to know about.

He he, maybe he's busy donating all his books to charity. Come to think of it, isn't he in the habit of underlining passages and writing in the margins? Ooooh what rich material for a thourough scholarly study down the line!!

Hope everyone's new year and new decade is up to a good start!

Totally cool Jaime!!! Reading each line made me feel better. It's surely is slow moving and drab where I am.
If YJ is doing all these things I would truly be happy. It's a beautiful life and he deserves it.
Enjoy the most and every minute of it. Take care.
Love loads, Hyds

Sorry to post a negative comment

at the start of the new year.

It's going to be colder.

Hahahaha.....Jaime...I love the Washing machine very much!![...ahem...don't we all ???!!!]

With BYJ it has always been a "pregnant silence" ...err...maybe I ought to get another word to describe it but nothing comes to mind n o w....anyway...what we experience as his absence and in-activity has been action packed for Yong Joon ssi himself, usually it has something to do with presenting something to us fans.

Now he has encountered some obstructions and has canceled the Drop of God productions , as a Baefan, all I could do is to support him in his other project....the project with JYP.

I was troubled because BYJ didn't appear anywhere [with us missing him terribly!]. I didn't take into account that BYJ...at this time... may have some troubles of his own to work through also , he is only human after all...

Thanks, Jaime
Love, myoce

Dear Jaime and Bae sisters:
Greetings notwithstanding the snow and freezing temps and a weather forecast of artic cold for the next six days.
I am happy that Bae Yong Joon gave up production of Drops of God. From the archetypes of lover, warrior, king and magician, it would be a downward spiral to act as wine connoisseur.
I understand that Bae Yong Joon is showing private tapes of his life and work on television. I jut hope that he changes the title from History Of Bae Yong Joon to "His Story: Bae Yong Joon", because history is so past and ancient, while "His Story" is postmodern. That life presentation will really be a headline grabber and a heart stopper. The latest trend now is story telling as agent of change in transformational leadership. Watch for instance, how Steve Jobs delivered a commencement speech in 2005 at Stanford University. It is on YouTube.

Whoever is in charge of production of "His Story: Bae Yong Joon" should watch Steve Jobs and read Steve Denning on the web.
Happy watching and reading.

Sarang Hamnida,
josephine

Hi dear gosijo,

You sound cheerful, hope you had a wonderful New Year. Yeah, imagine how he thinks knowing everything he touches someday might end up in the museum?! That's thought just too remote for me to even imagine :)

Please take care with the super cold weather!

Dear Hyds,

I agree with you, doing simple things in life with your loved ones is what life is all about. Hope Yong Joon will find that peace and joy.

Just saw CNN about the heavy snow in UK. Hope it doesn;t cause you too much trouble.

Ups & downs the last few days? Sorry to hear about the downs, I'll email you, ok?

Dear moichan,

Thanks for dropping by, oh no, your comment is not negative at all. I can understand how disappointing that Kami no Shizuku does not materialize. This is probably not the first time for Yong Joon to cancel a project, at least he really hasn't started filming yet :) So I am waiting, together with you, for his next project. As we said before, hehe, it'd better be a reeeeeeally good love story!

Please take care in the cold wintry nights!

Hi hi myoce,

Hahaha, a new term 'pregnant silence'? So you think he;s actually brewing something, not hibernating?

Yeah, he needs time to sort out his works and personal matters, just like any of us. Hope that our love does not pose any pressure for him, we are here to support him no matter what.

Wish you and your family a Happy & Healthy year :)

Hi hi karen,

Are you still very busy at work? Pleae don;t worry, you are welcome to come here anytime you feel like to.

Yeah, we ate so much in Taipei that we were practically dragging our tummies back to the hotel every night :) Hehe, pineapple cake is my favourite!

Wishing you a wonderful 2010 too!

Hi Alcy,

Sorry to hear that you feel sad about 'Drops of God' and his silence. Yes, it's unbearable at times. It's hard enough that he is physically so remote from us, and the frustration compounds when this superstar does not even act much! Let us all wait patiently together :)

Dear jenny,

you cried? Oh, I am so sorry, dear sister :( you think listening to his voice in WLS Anime helps? Our dear xiaoyi has kindly posted them. Or what I am doing now is rewatching his drama and events DVDs - from the very beginning :) So, coming up should be Sunny Place of the Young - a real long one!

Please take care!

Hi Josephine,

WHat a coincidence, I have read Steve Job's commencement speech at Stanford many times. I even use this to teach a young man and my son about life. It's indeed an inspiration.

The weather is indeed brutal over there. Please take it easy and count the days to spring.

Hi Jaime,

I love this, because this is very witty and funny. You showed us the good example of how we should spend this hibernation period. I trasnlated this into Japanese (the last time I did was about a year ago!) to send to your Japanese Yon-tomo.
