Bravo! Bravo! The curtain is lowered for the first episode of TWSSG and it left me deeply impressed. What a great opening for this epic drama series with the heavenly performance of our King and the splendour of computer graphics! I loveeeee the wonder of technology (not that I know much), but for a housewife sitting in Canada being able to watch Korean TV broadcast LIVE is pretty amazing to me! Thank you princess bb, you’re the BEST! Big hugs for telling us how to install TVants, hehe and that icon really looks like a cute little ant. Thanks also to Jillie and Yuko for sharing how to use iMBC. OK now, back to the love of our lives .....
I’ve seen pictures of his ‘Gandalf’ look before but I didn’t think much of it. Afterall, the real Bae Yong Joon has a full head of dark, luscious, shiny hair. But he is soooo out-of-this-world gorgeous today in his silvery grey hair flying gently away from his face, revealing his calm and peaceful countenance. His slow, heavenly gesture evokes such strength, no wonder both women fell hopelessly in love with him.
Talking about E Ji Ah, I really like the freshness and sweetness in this girl. As a new actress in her debut drama, I find that there is a certain ease and smoothness in her execution of the role. Hehe of course, being so delicate, pretty and slim doesn’t hurt either. The way that Yong Joon held her hands and kissed her on the forehead seemed so effortless and natural, which makes someone with a hyperactive mind like me (as bb said before) start extrapolating if there is any kind of romantic feeling sprouting between the two?
After all, one is the most handsome and successful actor in Asia, the other is a pretty and intelligent young lady, and both are extremely eligible. Well, can you blame me for reading too much into things? I haven't seen HRH's work for 2 years and there : the first date he gave her a precious stone bigger than an egg, second date he held her hands and there's fireworks, third date he kissed her forehead with his eyes closed and the fourth appearance - she's having his BABY already! How much better a live-happily-ever-after fairy tale can we get?

I'm so glad TVants worked for you today. Me too! Streaming went smoothly! Only bad part is I can only watch the first 30 mins or so because I have to do the "Mom's Limo" in the morning...LOL

At long last! I was able to watch TWSSG last nite via satellite. Love the scenic attractions & everything though cannot understand a word they say. Anyway, we have to be this way til the dvd with English subs come out. And untl then, we have to rely on their actions & gaulsan's translations on Quilt.
Thank you bb for recommending tvrants. I was able to log in yesternite & this will serve as my emergency site when my satellite gets into trouble. And also Jillie & Yuko for giving us the details on how to log in the site easily.

Just an FYI - I've written to YA Entertainment asking them to please consider doing the English subs for TWSSG. If TWSSG is successful and they can secure the rights, we may have subs soon. They did the subs for Jumong and I've been told they are working on older BYJ dramas as well. They also did subs for Papa.
We can hope and pray!!
Jaime - it's very hard to leave halfway thru this drama. I've been lucky that dear Xiaoyi has been posting items so I can catch up. I too will have to re-watch this weekend.

err.. if anyone understands chinese, and promise to still buy the original copy when it's out, then you might want to know that the chinese subs for the special program is out already. they're working on epi 1... usually the chinese subs for k-dramas are out 1-2 days after, but coz this is a period drama, the translation is harder and therefore slower... so i'm thinking probably 2-3 days...
let me know if you need the link to d/l.
but you must promise to still support the original when it's out, ya?

yes dear bb, I promise to buy the original one. In fact, I am sure we probably will end up having many versions of the original drama at the end, just like WS and AS. There are official versions from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and N.America. I think I need good subtitles in both English and traditional Chinese.
